INTUR [esp] is the Nicaraguan Governments
tourism education and development department. They help local people to
develop and publicize tourism projects. They have information for tourists
on places like Managua, Masaya, Jinotepe, Granada, Bluefields, Corn island and San Juan Del Sur.1 block North of the West side of Texaco

Alianza Turistica
Alianz
Turistica [esp]
is an alliance of
INTUR, the Alcaldia de Jinotega (town hall),
La Cuculmeca [esp]
(an NGO), and
CANTUR [esp]
(Chamber of commerce for tourism). The emphasis is on development
opportunities such as projects, hotels, or big plans. They help with
inclusion in the area development plan and publicity.

Rotary Club
Club Rotario (Rotary Club) meets every Monday evening at the Jinotega Social Club (West side of the central park close to the town hall) 7:30PM. If you plan on living in the town of Jinotega, this is an excellent way of meeting some of the key players in town.
